The next morning, Claire Bennett gets up and asks the driver to take her to Conservatory of Music of A University.

A University is the top university in A City. Conservatory of Music is a branch of A University specializing in music. It is a well-known aristocratic school in China.

Generally, there are only three kinds of people who will come to this school. They are rich in assets. They come from well-known families. They have at least one listed company. Or they are from an official family with at least one municipal leader.

In addition, there is another kind of person. They have special accomplishments and knowledge in music. Of course, they can afford tuition or they can get a full scholarship from the school.

Claire Bennett stands at the door. She looks at the decorated university gate and then walks into the school with the materials she needs.

Finding the place to sign up, Claire Bennett fills out a series of materials and goes to pay for her tuition.

Fortunately, she has a bank card which her dad left for her to go to college. The money in it is enough.

However, when she swipes her card, something goes wrong.

"Miss Bennett, I'm sorry, your bank card has been frozen. Do you think you need to change it?" The school staff in charge of the fees looks at Claire Bennett somewhat helplessly.

Claire Bennett is startled. How could the card her father gave her be frozen?

"It's impossible. Can you try it again? It shouldn't be frozen. It's impossible." Claire Bennett's voice is tense.

However, after trying again, the man shakes his head and tells Claire Bennett, "I'm sorry but your card has really been frozen. Please come back. There are still a lot of people registering today!"

The students in the queue behind say the same thing. After all, most of these people are spoiled. They have never been neglected.

Claire Bennett has no choice but to apologize and then leaves the school with her belongings.

The bank card that her dad gave her to go to college can't be frozen. If it's frozen, there's only one possibility. Jade Patton did it.

With that in mind, Claire Bennett quickly stops a taxi and heads for Jade Patton's company. It should be called her father's company.

However, Claire Bennett is stopped at the entrance of the company. The security guard at the entrance looks strange and Claire Bennett is confused.

The man doesn't know Claire Bennett. He says responsibly, "Hello, miss. Can I help you? Do you have an appointment?"

"I'm looking for Jade Patton and I'm the daughter of the chairman of the company. My name is Claire Bennett!" Claire Bennett understands that all this is Jade Patton's idea and she replaced the security guards at the entrance.

However, when the security guard hears Claire Bennett's name, he shakes his head and says, "I'm sorry. Mrs. Patton said you have to make an appointment to get in. Please come back."

Claire Bennett stares at the security guard. His eyes are dodging. She suddenly realizes that Jade Patton has ordered the security guard at the entrance of the company. She has to stand at the entrance of the company and grits her teeth and dials Jade Patton's telephone.

Claire Bennett seems to hear Jade Patton's triumphant laughter when the telephone is connected.

"Ah, it's you. I heard you are going to sign up for school recently. Why do you call me?" Jade Patton knowingly asks, making Claire Bennett's even angrier.

"Aunt Patton, I want to know why you froze the bank card my father gave me. That's all my dad left me to go to college." Claire Bennett doesn't want to argue with Jade Patton and she tries to calm down.

"I forgot to tell you in advance. It's frozen. But you're married now, right? How could you ask for money from your family? Even if you don't have a job and need someone to feed you, it should be your husband Leo Howard, right?"

Jade Patton laughs unabashedly but instead of answering Claire Bennett's question directly, she throws another tough question at her.

"You..." Indignant Claire quickly retorts, "It's my business who I ask for money from but that money is reserved for me by my father. You should give me a reason for freezing my bank account in private."

After that, she stares at the tall building in front of her fiercely and adds, "I'm at the door of the company right now. You changed the security guard and I am stopped outside the door. I can't tell you clearly on the phone. I'm coming up to talk to you now."

Claire Bennett says and is going inside.

However, the security guard still blocks the door and refuses to let her in.

"You'd better not come up. I'm going to have an important meeting soon. That's it. Let's talk about it sometime."

Jade Patton hangs up the phone quickly. She sits in her office and fantasizes about Claire Bennett's rage. She is in a very happy mood.

Hearing the busy voice on the other end of the phone, Claire Bennett stamps her foot so hard that she is almost half dead with anger. But there is no way out so she has to take a taxi home directly.

As soon as she gets home, Claire Bennett meets Leo Howard sitting in the living room.

It's not a special day. Leo Howard isn't in the company at the time. He is sitting on the sofa and looking at her. Claire Bennett is a little worried.

Claire Bennett mutters in her heart. She says, "I went to school to sign up and I just received the admission notice last month."

Leo Howard sneers, "Can't you stay at home? Are you going to school to seduce others?"

Claire Bennett who is in a bad mood today is angry. "I'm only 20 years old. What can I do when I don't go to school? I just like music. What's wrong with learning music? Music is my dream. I want to learn music very much!"

Leo Howard looks at her and seems to disagree. "My woman just needs to stay at home and wait on me!"

"You..." Claire Bennett is upset. She doesn't understand Leo Howard at all.

She wants to borrow money from him but now it seems that there is no way to say it. Claire Bennett bites her lip.

Looking at Claire Bennett, Leo Howard says coldly, "Dress up yourself. There's a very important dinner party tonight. I need to take you with me. You go upstairs and change your dress and come with me."

Leo Howard doesn't allow her to refuse. Claire Bennett understands why Leo Howard is at home.

Claire Bennett sighs and she doesn't respond. Leo Howard speaks to the maid next to him, "Take her upstairs and change clothes, you two!"
