The receptionist smiles and says, "don't worry. Someone will come and take you up later. Please wait a moment."
"Well, hurry up!" Claire clenches her teeth and clenches her fist. She didn't expect that she will be so worried about Leo.
Claire is anxious but has to wait for the waiter to come to the front desk with the key to Leo's room before taking Claire upstairs.
During the whole process, Claire is so anxious that she wants to kill people. Every time she wants to lose her temper, she has to bear it. On the surface, she is calm. In fact, she is very worried.
If it isn't for etiquette, she wants to grab the key from the waiter and run.
So Claire has to keep urging the waiter, "hurry up, he's going to die..."
"Miss, don't push me any more. I'm fast enough..." The waiter is almost pulled by Claire. He is also speechless. He sees such a guest for the first time.
When they finally get to Leo's door, Claire keeps urging, "open the door. Hurry up!"
She says that many times along the way. The waiter quickens his movements but it is more difficult to open the door. He tries several times to get the key in.
Claire is very worried. When the waiter opens the door, Claire pushes it open and runs quickly into the room.
She looks around quickly but there is no one on the sofa or in the bed!
To her surprise, Claire doesn't see Leo fainting in bed in agony. She searches the whole room, but she still doesn't see his figure.
Claire even goes into the bathroom and rummages through the closet, but she still doesn't see him!
The waiter keeps standing at the door and watching Claire rummage through the room. He comes up at the moment and says hesitantly, "Miss, do you make a mistake about the room? Or do you get the situation wrong? There is no such guest in this room as you said, and no one faints in it."
At last there is a slight disdain in his tone.
"..."
Claire calms down gradually at this time. She is sure that she doesn't go to the wrong room. When she came over, she specially looked at her room. It is next door.
This situation can only explain one truth. Leo is not likely to fall ill in the room at all. The only possibility is that he went out early in the morning, but when he went out, he didn't tell her at all!
Claire doesn't have time to think about why Leo did it. Facing the dissatisfied look of the waiter, Claire says awkwardly, "I'm sorry. Maybe I misunderstand. My friend may have gone out early in the morning. I'm sorry to bother you."
Claire's words make the waiter more contemptuous. Finally he says patiently, "it's OK. Don't do it next time, or our work will be very difficult."
"I'm so sorry..." Claire repeatedly stoops to apologize and is embarrassed.
Claire doesn't dare look into the waiter's eyes at the thought of what she said at the front desk.
Claire's attitude is sincere so the waiter can't criticize her. He says only a few words and leaves.
"What's the matter?"
"..."
Leo?
No sooner has the waiter leaves than Leo comes into the room. He frowns when he sees Claire standing solemnly in the middle of the room.
Claire hears the sound and looks at the door. When she sees Leo holding Fiona, her face turns cold.
Leo! Were you out for a day to date a beautiful woman?
Good job! No wonder he didn't inform her. He went out on a date, but she is worried that he will faint in the room. She's as anxious as a fool here.
Claire immediately thinks that she must be blind, so she will worry about him like a fool!
Claire stares at Leo coldly and says nothing. She's furious and giving off negative energy. She wants to tear Leo's face.
"Claire, did you get kicked in the head by a donkey?"
Claire doesn't speak with a cold face and keeps staring at Leo. He doesn't feel comfortable so his tone is unfriendly.
"Yes, I was kicked to be stupid!" Claire says with a wry smile.
She was so worried about him just now, but he scolds her as soon as he comes back. At that moment, Claire only feels that her kindness has been eaten by the dog.
Leo doesn't seem to hear Claire's sarcasm. He nods thoughtfully and laughs, "you're stupid!"
"... Leo!" Claire's anger fills her mind. She glares angrily at Leo and wants to say something, but she is interrupted by Fiona in Leo's arms.
Fiona looks at Leo and says, "Leo, why is this secretary in your room? Does she really have nothing to do with you?"
She looks pitiful and her voice sounds very aggrieved.
After a whole day of getting along, Fiona has been completely tamed by Leo. She is not as arrogant and confident as she was yesterday.
Today Fiona is in Leo's arms. She puts one hand around Leo's waist and the other on his chest. Her face rests on Leo's shoulder. They look close.
Leo looks at Fiona and reaches out a hand to touch Fiona's face. He coaxes her, "of course she has nothing to do with me. I won't lie to you."
"You are bad!" Fiona says softly. She pats Leo's hand shyly. In fact, she holds it gently.
Realizing her intention, Leo immediately holds her hand and smiles, "can't wait?"
