Claire...

Claire's heart pounds. She coughs to hide her heartbeat. She says discontentedly, "president, don't be so close. Next time your fiancee finds out, she might cut me with a knife. I know she has a bad temper. I dare not approach you. President, please let me go. Don't bother me any more!"

"I left my resignation letter on your desk yesterday. Please forget me. I don't want an office romance!"

"Claire!" Leo roars. He says domineering, "I said I will not allow you to resign. If you want to quit, give me a million dollars. Don't lose your temper like a child next time."

He says she is like a child!

Claire is furious. She growls discontentedly, "Leo, don't go too far! I was scolded as a mistress by your fiancee because of you! I told you I will never be a mistress. I don't want to have that relationship with you!"

"I have rejected you many times! You pester me but I suffer. Have you ever thought about how I feel! Have you ever thought about the fact that you already have a fiancee! Leo, please let me go. You can have all kinds of beauties. Why bother me! Are you blind..."

Before Claire finishes, Leo hangs up. Claire hasn't finished venting. She glares angrily at the phone and tries to throw it aside!

Claire lies on the bed looking at the ceiling angrily. After a long time she calms down. She gets up, washes her face, brushes her teeth and changes her clothes.

Claire looks at herself in the mirror. Why does she change? Is she going out for lunch with Leo?

She doesn't want to. If she is photographed by paparazzi again, she want to die!

Claire stands still for a while. The doorbell rings suddenly. Claire is shocked. It's only a dozen minutes since they called. Is it Leo?

And it's not lunch time!

Claire walks uneasily to the door. She looks at the man outside through the mirror on the door. She does see Leo's black face.

Claire can't help shivering. As she hesitates to open the door, Leo suddenly looks into the mirror and looks at her. He seems to know that she is looking at him through the mirror.

Claire clearly sees Leo saying, open the door.

Then he slams the door again. Claire has to open the door.

"Why are you here? I've made it clear..." As soon as Claire opens the door, Leo strides in and closes it.

Leo grabs Claire's arm and hits her against the wall and kisses her hard.

What Claire wants to say is blocked by Leo. Her hands are tightly bound. Claire has absolutely no room to struggle.

Leo's kiss is crazy and sentimental. He sucks the sweetness of Claire's mouth quickly and greedily. His strong tongue dances with Claire's soft tongue. Claire can't fight and can only let Leo attack.

Soon Claire's strength is drained by Leo. She leans powerlessly against Leo. If Leo doesn't put his arm around her waist, she may fall to the ground.

They kiss for a long time. Finally Leo takes her to the sofa and presses her on and continues to kiss her lips, ears and collarbones.

Leo pants a little and puts his head on Claire's shoulder. His voice is hoarse with desire. "Claire, do you miss me these two days?"

Claire calms down and pushes Leo. She says angrily, "I don't miss you! President, please find out. I made it clear on the phone. I don't want to be your mistress. We seem to be having an affair now..."

Before Claire finishes, Leo kisses her again. He gently sucks Claire's lips for a long time.

Leo looks into Claire's eyes affectionately. He says seriously, "Claire, I like you."

"Boom."

Claire seems to have been hit by lightning. Her brain is blank. Her heart thumps and she seems to rejoice in Leo's words.

Claire is stunned. She stares into Leo's affectionate eyes and feels it is a dream.

This is the first time Leo has said he likes her. Last time in City B he said he wanted to be with her, she was shocked by him.

But Claire didn't expect Leo to say he likes her!

How could it be! Leo is cruel and ruthless. How could he like her!

Claire thinks the world is kidding her. She may be dreaming, otherwise how could she hear such absurd words.

She subconsciously tries to push Leo away, but Leo holds her tighter. He says affectionately in her ear, "Claire, I really like you. Since you drowned in City B, I found that I have already liked you..."

"Then I joked that I wanted us to be together. Although I said I was joking, I really think so..."

"Claire, shall we be together? You can give me some time to break my engagement with Tracy. Then we'll be officially together, ok?"
