I looked at Sean Jessop and didn't know what he was going to do.

But I naively thought he would leave after dinner.

So I cooked and asked him to eat together.

The dining table in this room was round. Sean Jessop sat down, patted the chair next to him and said, "Sit here."

I hesitated and sat down.

At this point, I was thinking of satisfying him and waiting for him to leave.

I sat down and watched Sean Jessop eat.

After dinner, he said he wanted to borrow my tablet to work. I dared not refuse and lent it to him. I went to my room alone and texted Daisy Johnson on my cell phone.

I told her all about Sean Jessop's anomalies today.

Daisy Johnson responded, "He likes you."

I said, "That's impossible."

Later, Daisy Johnson kept saying, "Men are cheap. When he has you, he doesn't treasure you. When you don't like him, he will like you."

She talked about the theory for more than an hour.

When I looked at my watch again, it was 11 o'clock. I went to the living room to ask Sean Jessop when he was leaving but I saw him sitting on the sofa with my tablet computer in his hand.

But his posture was a little strange.

I went over and asked him, "It's so late. Don't you go back?"

"I'm not going back."

Sean Jessop said firmly.

I thought he looked a little strange. I saw a layer of sweat on his forehead.

His face was a little white. He was obviously out of order!

"What's wrong with you?" I went up and half squatted down to ask him.

"I'm all right." Sean Jessop shook his head, pretending to be calm.

But I had noticed that his face was not normal.

"If you don't feel well, we need to go to the hospital."

I was going to make an emergency call but he stopped me. "Do you have any stomach medicine in your house?"

"Stomach medicine?"

Only then did I realize that he must have eaten too much at night and had a stomachache!

But I just arrived at this house and hadn't bought these standing-by medicines yet.

"I'll go out and buy it for you." I was going to wear shoes.

Fortunately Sean Jessop had been in the house before. I hadn't changed my clothes. It was convenient now.

I poured him a cup of hot water before I went out and coaxed him into bed.

After I hurried downstairs and bought a pile of stomach pills, painkillers and food tablets, his shirt was soaked with pain.

I looked at him with pity. I fed him medicine and sat aside. I couldn't help blaming him, "Your stomach is not healthy. Don't eat so much food at a time."

Sean Jessop closed his eyes and said nothing.

I looked at his painful expression and thought of my childhood. Every time I had a stomachache, my aunt in the orphanage rubbed my stomach. My stomach wouldn't hurt anymore. I said, "Let me rub your belly."

I regretted it as soon as I said it.

Sean Jessop was the president of the Giant group. How could he possibly allow me to do that?

But when I waited for him to reject me, I saw him pull his shirt out of his belt and reveal his strong abdominal muscles.

I was stunned for a moment before I knew that he had agreed.

I couldn't repent what I said.

I had no choice but to heat my hands and rub his stomach slowly.

After a while I asked him, "Are you feeling better?"

Sean Jessop nodded slightly.

He did not speak and his eyes were closed. But his expression was no longer as cold as usual.

He lay in bed like a obedient child.

I first met Sean Jessop more than a decade ago. At that time, he was so weak lying in bed...

When I fell into memory, the man slowly opened his eyes and looked at me and said, "Get ready for me to take a bath."

He was ordering me again.

I watched his face recover as usual and was not angry at all. With a sigh of relief, I got up and went to prepare water for his bath.

The bathtub was almost full. I was about to turn around and call him but I saw him standing behind me. His shirt had been stripped off and he was wearing only pants.

His belt was unfastened...

"You!" I blushed quickly.

I quickly walked out of the bathroom, closed the door and said, "You take a shower, I'll go to bed first."

By this time I had understood that he was a patient and I could not drive him away. He was sure to sleep here tonight.

I looked at the bed in the big bedroom.

This was my first night in this house. But I couldn't sleep in this big bedroom...

I sighed a long sigh and went to the small bedroom with a little complaint.

I reported to Daisy Johnson and soon fell asleep.

After a while, I felt my quilt lifted. Then I was picked up!

I was frightened to exclaim but I soon realized that Sean Jessop had finished taking a bath.

Where was he going with me?

I opened my eyes and sneaked a glance at the man. His upper body was naked. The cold moonlight shone on his strong muscles. It was tempting.

There was an unexplained agitation in my heart and I closed my eyes.

Soon I felt the man put me in bed again and hugged me from behind. His wet hair rubbed against my cheek and I itched a little.

When I was afraid of what he was going to do, I felt his thin lips sticking to my ear. He said in a very soft voice, "June Carter, I seem to like you."

These words shocked me.

What did he mean? He liked me?

How was that possible?

Maybe Daisy Johnson was right. Men would not cherish you until they lost you.

He didn't really like you. Because you were no longer under his control, he had a sense of frustration.

I thought for a long time and finally fell asleep in his breath...

When I woke up the next morning, Sean Jessop and I were still in the same position last night.

I got out of his arm and got up to change my clothes. I cooked our breakfast and was ready to go out.

"Good morning." Ming Jessop looked at me with a smile on his lips.

I remembered what he told me yesterday.

After we went downstairs, Ming Jessop offered to send me away but I refused.

When I got to the company, I met Daniell Cook in the tea room. Just as I wanted to say hello, Daniell Cook's cell phone rang. I waited intently for the water to boil.

Daniell Cook answered the phone and listened for a few seconds. His face changed greatly. "What? You wait! I'll go right now!"
